this week, the fellas and i continued our snohomish golf tour visiting Battle Creek GC in tulalip, wa.. the area has recently become popularized with casinos and premium shopping outlets. the morning began with heavy rain on our commute, but as we drove into the parking lot the rain stopped. the golf gods were friendly and provided a perfect setting for us aspring pin hunters. check out the kodak moments for this week's greenie winners, as well as an update to the leaderboard.

round highlights include ben thomas throwing his clubs on the 3rd hole. early signs of pressure on the first greenie of the day. cool out kid, there's hella golf to be played! then again, it doesn't beat the uncharacteristic act of cart bag violence by barlow on the 8th hole. after hitting a perfect tee shot from an elevated tee, he duffed a 7 iron to a green guarded by water, slamming his club against his bag and breaking his shaft (doh!). the lowest score of the round was 90, posted by yours truly and lastly, the course has a grass range with $3 buckets. get your warm-up on son!!!

Review: Legion Golf Course, Everett, WA

last saturday me and the fellas visited Legion Golf Course in everett, wa. this is a pretty wide open track that's great for working the dust off the game after a long northwest winter. the course plays a little long with all the moisture on the fairways and first cuts. the greens rolled nicely, but were not that fast. great course, i'd go back to play it again.
